Well-trained teachers carry out improvements in education. DEAN develops ongoing training and workshops for teachers in East Africa. To this end, we seek reinforcement from experienced training developers, trainers or teachers. Our current focus is on STE(A)M education and 21st-century skills and their application within primary and secondary education in East Africa.

- Develop new training methodology for subject teachers in primary and secondary schools in Kenya and Tanzania on 21st-century skills.
- Develop practical applications for subject teachers in primary and secondary schools in Kenya and Tanzania for (one of) the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Life Skills
- Computer Science / computer literacy
- Agriculture
- Develop training materials and workshops for teachers.
- Develop train-the-trainer workshops and materials.
Context
You will work with DEAN staff and partners in the Netherlands and Africa. We expect you to be able to work from home with regular contact moments in Hilversum. Visiting Kenya for knowledge transfer to our team of trainers is an option.
