Roaming digital life-skill training for youth in Kenya.
Impact and reach
1250 pupils, 20 teachers will be trained in (digital) life skills. 8 media-coaches will be trained to further support educators.
During a 10 week programme the pupils will acquire a mix of essential skills that help them in their life and further education. Through a combination of class-based training and computer-based assignments the pupils learn about life-skills while at the same time acquiring computer skills.
In separate groups we will train teachers in the use of digital tools in the classroom and how to integrate this with existing lessons. New to the programme is the training of digi-coaches who will coach students and teachers in their online behaviour and approach.
