Building of a local digital-education support network.

Frequent support in many forms

Experience shows that the successful integration of digital education tools at schools depends on frequent support in many forms. Technical support, classroom-coaching for teachers, teacher training, are important aspects that have to be provided on an almost continuous basis to ensure the unhindered use of the available digital means.

Service providers

Providing this kind of support demands a dense enough network of service providers. Only such a network ensures reasonable response times on requests, has enough knowledge of the local structures and habits and is the basis for an affordable and sustainable service support structure for the schools.


DEAN is forming such a network in East-Africa to enable the further integration of digital education. This project entails the selection process of local partners, the development of a quality management system, a training and coaching programme for the partners and a viable sustainable social business concept.
