Last week, DEAN Kenya organised a follow-up training for teachers of three primary schools in Tanzania as part of the CLASSworks program that started in 2017. The follow-up training and coaching in the classroom is important for the professional development of the teachers. At each training, new digital lesson methods are introduced and we leave ample room for reflection and coaching in the classroom. This stimulates their self-confidence to innovate education using tablets and digital content.
This CLASSworks program is executed in collaboration with FT Kilimanjaro, a local NGO. They are active in this region for a long time and asked us to introduce digital education at three schools. A fruitful partnership that bears fruit: school results are improving and STEAM subjects receive a higher appreciation of the students.
